Fits select 1992-1997 Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Pontiac models equipped with the 5.7L LT1 or LT4 engine.
The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat is designed to provide superior cooling efficiency for high-performance GM engines. Unlike standard thermostats that wait for higher temperatures to open, this racing unit activates at a lower temperature to allow coolant to circulate through the radiator sooner. This earlier activation helps maintain lower overall engine temperatures, effectively reducing heat soak and protecting your engine during aggressive driving, track sessions, or high-load conditions.
