Designed for custom intercooler piping kits, the Mishimoto DuraCore™ 3" Straight Hump Coupler (MMDCC-30HBK) provides a high-strength connection that accommodates engine movement. The straight hump configuration allows for increased flexibility between 3-inch charge pipes, absorbing vibrations and preventing stress on the piping without compromising the seal under pressure.
Built to handle the demands of high-performance builds, this coupler features Mishimoto’s proprietary DuraCore™ technology. This synthetic inner layer provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil, preventing the degradation and blowouts often seen with standard silicone boots. The construction utilizes five layers of silicone reinforced with heat-resistant embedded fibers and includes reinforcing rings to ensure the coupler maintains its shape under high-boost conditions.
