The Mishimoto M22 Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate (MMOP-SPTM22) is an essential upgrade for adding an external oil cooler to your vehicle's lubrication system. CNC-machined from lightweight 6061 aluminum, this high-flow plate features an integrated thermostat that restricts oil flow to the cooler until operating temperatures are reached, ensuring faster engine warm-ups and vital protection in colder climates.
This unit comes standard with a 185°F (85°C) thermostat, which can be swapped for 160°F or 200°F units for precise thermal management. Designed specifically for use with M22 stainless steel center bolts, it also features a 1/8" NPT plugged port on the side for convenient installation of an oil temperature or pressure sensor.
