The Mishimoto MMFAN-PWM-UBK Pulse-Width Modulated (PWM) Fan Controller provides precise engine temperature management by varying fan speed from 0% to 100% based on real-time cooling demands. Unlike traditional on/off controllers, this universal unit constantly adjusts fan velocity to maintain target temperatures while reducing mechanical wear and electrical load.
This controller is engineered for high-capacity systems, supporting multiple electric fans with a combined draw of up to 50 amps. The integrated soft-start feature minimizes initial startup amp draw, preventing voltage spikes and reducing fan noise during low cooling loads. For added versatility, a built-in override circuit connects to an A/C trigger or manual switch, initiating the fans at 30% speed to maintain HVAC efficiency before ramping up as coolant temperatures rise.
