NGK Iridium IX spark plugs are engineered for performance enthusiasts looking for increased throttle response, high fuel efficiency, and superior anti-fouling. The fine wire iridium center electrode is six times harder than platinum, providing an extremely high melting point that withstands the heat of modern high-performance engines. This design ensures a consistent, concentrated spark for better ignitability and more reliable starting.
Each CR10EIX plug features a tapered cut ground electrode to minimize quenching and improve flame expansion. The shells are treated with Trivalent metal plating to provide long-lasting protection against corrosion and seizing without the need for additional anti-seize during installation.
