NGK Laser Iridium High Ignitability spark plugs are engineered to meet the stringent demands of original equipment applications, providing the ideal balance of performance and extreme longevity. Each plug features a laser-welded iridium-tipped center electrode paired with a platinum disc on the ground electrode. This dual-precious-metal design ensures maximum spark efficiency and durability six times harder than standard platinum plugs, even in high-output turbocharged environments.
The high-grade alumina silicate ceramic insulator provides superior thermal conductivity and dielectric strength to prevent flashover. A 98% pure copper core aids in rapid heat dissipation, preventing overheating and pre-ignition. Each plug is finished with trivalent metal plating for long-term corrosion resistance and includes triple seals to eliminate combustion gas leakage.
