NGK Iridium IX spark plugs are engineered for performance enthusiasts seeking improved throttle response, superior anti-fouling, and high-efficiency combustion. The 0.6mm fine-wire iridium center electrode provides extreme ignitability and a high melting point, ensuring durability in the intense heat of modern or modified engines. This iridium alloy is six times harder than platinum, allowing for a thinner electrode tip that requires less voltage to spark.

These plugs feature a tapered cut ground electrode to minimize quenching and improve flame kernel expansion. Each plug is finished with trivalent metal plating to provide superior anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties, making them easier to remove during future service intervals.

Manufacturer Part Number: BKR6EIX
Center Electrode: Fine wire iridium tip
Ground Electrode: Tapered cut for improved starting and idling
Finish: Trivalent metal plating for anti-corrosion protection
Quantity: Box of 4 spark plugs
Recommended for: High-performance applications or as an upgrade to OE nickel alloy plugs
