NGK Laser Iridium spark plugs represent the pinnacle of OE-replacement technology, engineered to provide consistent ignition and maximum service life. These LMAR7DI-10 plugs utilize a laser-welded, fine-wire iridium-tipped center electrode. This material is six times harder than platinum, allowing for a thinner electrode profile that requires less voltage to fire while resisting electrical erosion over thousands of miles.
- High-Performance Ignition: Fine-wire iridium tip ensures a stable spark and improved throttle response.
- Advanced Heat Management: A 98 percent pure copper core aids in heat removal to prevent overheating and pre-ignition.
- Pure Alumina Ceramic: Alumina silicate ceramic insulator provides superior dielectric strength and thermal conductivity.
- Corrosion Protection: Trivalent metal plating offers excellent anti-corrosion and anti-seizing properties.
- Leak-Proof Design: Triple seals prevent combustion gas leakage past the shell for consistent compression.
