NGK Laser Iridium High Ignitability spark plugs are engineered for OE-specific applications to deliver a precise balance of performance and service life. This plug features an iridium-tipped center electrode, a material six times harder than platinum, paired with a raised platinum pad or fine wire tip on the ground electrode. This configuration is specifically designed to provide consistent spark performance and even wear in high-demand distributorless ignition systems.
Construction includes a 98% pure copper core for efficient heat dissipation and a high-grade pure alumina silicate ceramic insulator for superior dielectric strength and thermal conductivity. To ensure a reliable seal and prevent combustion gas leakage, each plug is manufactured with NGK’s signature triple seals.
