The Ohlins Road & Track coilover system (BMS MI40S1) is engineered to provide the ultimate balance between track-day performance and daily-driver comfort for the E9X M3. Utilizing patented Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, these dampers provide consistent chassis control during aggressive cornering while effectively absorbing road imperfections by allowing fluid to bypass the main piston during high-velocity impacts.
The monotube damper architecture ensures rapid response and superior thermal management, while the inverted front strut design increases lateral stiffness for more precise steering input. With over 20 clicks of synchronized compression and rebound adjustment, you can quickly transition from street-compliant settings to a firm, track-ready setup. Each kit features lightweight aluminum shock bodies to improve cooling and reduce unsprung weight.
