Fits select 1988-2013 BMW M3, M5, M6, Z4 M Coupe, and 740i/740iL/750iL models. The OS Giken Super Lock LSD (BM237-HA) is a high-performance 1.5-way mechanical limited-slip differential engineered to deliver progressive, predictable traction under any driving condition.
Unlike traditional clutch-type differentials, the Super Lock design utilizes a patented pressure ring and an increased number of friction plates. This allows for near 100% lock-up performance when torque is applied, without the chattering or harsh engagement typically found in race-spec units. For the enthusiast, this means superior corner-exit stability and more efficient power delivery to the ground.
