The Pedders Extreme Xa Coilover Kit (PED-160099) offers a precision-engineered suspension solution for the S550 and S650 Mustang chassis. Designed for the enthusiast who demands a balance between street civility and track-capable handling, this kit features a fully threaded monotube body. Unlike lesser systems, this design allows for independent ride height adjustment without altering the spring preload or sacrificing suspension travel.
Internal damping is controlled via 30 distinct adjustment levels, allowing for fine-tuned rebound and compression characteristics. Each unit is gas-pressurized for consistent performance and features high-grade alloy steel motorsports coils. The front struts and rear shocks utilize factory-style bracketry to ensure a straightforward installation to the original mounting points.
