The PERRIN Short Shifter Adapter offers a precise way to reduce shift throw without replacing the entire shifter lever. By mounting to the base of the factory shifter, this adapter alters the leverage ratio, allowing you to shorten the distance between gears for faster, more engaging shifts. To further enhance tactile feedback, this kit includes PERRIN Shifter Bushings.
The included bushings replace the compliant factory rubber units at the shifter stay. This eliminates the "spongy" feel often found in the OE setup, resulting in a firm, mechanical connection to the transmission. This combination is an essential upgrade for any STI owner looking to improve shifting accuracy and speed.
