The PERRIN Steering Rack Lockdown Kit (PSP-SUS-562) is engineered to eliminate the vague steering feel caused by the soft factory rubber mounting bushings. By creating a solid mechanical connection between the steering rack and the chassis, this kit prevents the rack from shifting under load. The result is more immediate steering response, increased driver feedback, and improved precision during aggressive cornering or high-speed driving.
