The PERRIN Master Cylinder Bracket (PSP-BRK-402RD) addresses a known chassis weak point: firewall flex. During heavy braking, the thin firewall of the 2008-2014 WRX can deflect, allowing the master cylinder to shift forward and resulting in a soft or "mushy" pedal feel. This bracket bridges the gap between the master cylinder and the shock tower, creating a rigid mechanical stop.
Installing this brace eliminates that movement, providing a stiffer, more consistent brake pedal and significantly improved tactile response during spirited driving or track sessions. The durable red finish provides corrosion resistance and a performance look for your engine bay.
