The PERRIN Cold Air Intake (PSP-INT-330BK) is engineered to deliver cooler, denser air to your engine by relocating the air filter away from the radiator and engine heat. This reduction in intake air temperature (IAT) translates to more consistent horsepower and improved throttle response across the RPM range. The system utilizes mandrel-bent aluminum tubing to ensure smooth, laminar airflow and eliminate the turbulence often found in factory corrugated rubber hoses.
Constructed for longevity and performance, this intake features a textured black powder-coated finish that resists heat and provides a stealthy appearance under the hood. It is a direct-fit upgrade that replaces the restrictive factory airbox, allowing the Boxer engine to breathe more efficiently while providing a more aggressive induction sound during acceleration.
