The PERRIN Air Oil Separator (AOS) is an essential engine safety component designed to prevent oil vapor from entering the intake tract. For the FA20 and FA24 boxer engines, oil blow-by can lead to significant carbon buildup on intake valves and reduced octane stability, which increases the risk of engine knock. This AOS captures oil mist from the crankcase ventilation system and returns it to the oil pan, ensuring only clean air reaches your cylinders.
- Prevents oil vapor from coating the intake manifold and valves
- Heated coolant jacket prevents water condensation and sludge buildup in cold climates
- Maintenance-free design returns captured oil directly to the crankcase
- CNC machined from aluminum with a textured red powder-coated finish
