Fits 1999-2003 Mazda Protege (DX, ES, LX, Mazdaspeed, MP3) and 2002-2003 Protege5.
Minimize traction-robbing body lean and improve chassis balance with the Progress Tech Sport-tuned Rear Sway Bar. By increasing roll stiffness, this 22mm solid bar keeps the tires flatter against the pavement, resulting in a more stable contact patch and increased driver confidence during cornering. This kit is designed to reduce the excessive understeer common in the Protege platform for more neutral handling.
Each bar is cold-formed in-house using precision CNC bending equipment for consistent geometry. The laser-cut and CNC-machined ends are MIG-welded in place using precise fixtures to ensure an exact fit to factory mounting points. This system replaces the smaller OEM sway bar and soft rubber bushings with a larger diameter alloy steel bar and high-durometer polyurethane bushings.
