Fits 2004-2012 Subaru Impreza WRX and WRX STI models (including Limited, Premium, Special Edition, and TR trims) equipped with the 6-speed manual transmission.
The Prothane 6-speed Shifter Bushing Kit is engineered to eliminate the vague, "mushy" feel common in factory shifter linkages. By replacing the compliant original equipment rubber with high-durometer red polyurethane, this kit creates a more rigid connection between the shifter and the transmission. The result is significantly improved shifting precision, reduced throw deflection, and more positive gear engagement during both daily driving and high-performance use.
