The Prothane 14-502 right motor mount insert is engineered to reinforce the factory engine mounts by filling the voids in the original rubber bushing. This high-performance polyurethane component significantly reduces excessive engine movement and torque-induced deflection, resulting in more direct power transfer to the wheels and improved shifting precision during spirited driving.
Unlike standard rubber that degrades over time when exposed to oils and road contaminants, Prothane’s performance polyurethane formula is designed for long-term durability and consistent stiffness. This insert offers a cost-effective way to restore drivetrain rigidity in B13 and B14 chassis vehicles without the harshness of a full solid mount.
