Restore steering precision and eliminate play with Prothane polyurethane steering rack bushings. Over time, factory rubber bushings soften and degrade due to heat and exposure to automotive fluids, leading to steering rack "walk" and vague feedback. This kit replaces those worn components with high-durometer polyurethane to secure the rack firmly to the subframe.
Designed to maintain proper rack alignment under high lateral loads, these bushings provide a more direct connection between the steering wheel and the road. This results in sharper turn-in, reduced deflection, and improved tactile feedback through the wheel. Prothane's specialized polyurethane formula is engineered to withstand oils, grease, and environmental contaminants that typically destroy OEM rubber.
