Fits 1975-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models (Base, Z28, Trans Am, Formula, and more).
Standard unibody 2nd Gen F-body chassis are prone to flex and twisting under heavy cornering or high-torque acceleration, compromising handling and predictability. The QA1 52095 subframe connector kit solves this by rigidly linking the front subframe to the rear, drastically increasing overall chassis stiffness and improving suspension response during aggressive driving.
These connectors feature a tubular design engineered to follow the specific floorpan contours of the 1975-1981 GM F-body, maintaining maximum ground clearance and a clean, factory-style appearance. This kit also includes solid aluminum body mounts to replace worn rubber or polyurethane bushings, further eliminating movement between the body and the subframe for a more precise driving feel. Made in Lakeville, Minnesota, this bolt-on upgrade requires no welding for installation.
