This R1 Concepts front left slotted brake rotor provides a direct-fit performance upgrade for the Honda S2000 braking system. Precision-machined slots across the rotor surface serve a critical function: they sweep away brake dust, gases, and debris that can build up between the pad and the rotor, ensuring a consistent friction surface and reducing the risk of brake fade during spirited driving or track sessions.
Each rotor is finished with a specialized black coating to protect against corrosion and rust on the non-friction surfaces, such as the hub and internal vanes, maintaining a clean appearance behind the wheels. Manufactured to strict tolerances, this rotor (MPN 613-59027L) installs directly to factory mounting points without modification.
