R1 Concepts Stainless Steel Braided Rear Brake Lines are engineered to deliver precise braking performance and a firmer pedal feel. Unlike factory rubber hoses that expand under hydraulic pressure, these lines feature a high-strength stainless steel braided weave over a PTFE inner core. This construction virtually eliminates line expansion, providing consistent brake response and better modulation during aggressive driving or heavy braking.
For long-term durability, each hose is encased in a clear, abrasion-resistant PVC outer coating that protects the stainless steel braid from dirt, debris, and corrosion. These lines are DOT approved, meeting strict safety standards for street use, and are designed as direct-fit replacements for a straightforward installation.
