The R1 Concepts Stainless Steel Brake Hose is engineered to replace factory rubber lines, providing a firmer and more responsive pedal feel by eliminating hose expansion under high hydraulic pressure. This improved hydraulic efficiency is essential for consistent braking performance during spirited driving, daily commuting, or heavy braking scenarios where rubber lines often soften and flex.
Each hose features a high-grade PTFE inner core wrapped in a high-strength stainless steel braided weave to maintain pressure integrity. To ensure longevity, the exterior is finished with an abrasion-resistant clear PVC coating that protects against chaffing, road debris, and corrosion. These lines are precision-engineered for a direct-fit installation and are fully United States DOT approved for street use.
