This R1 Concepts stainless steel brake hose is a direct-fit replacement for the factory driver-side front rubber line. Unlike standard OEM rubber hoses that expand under heavy braking pressure, the braided stainless steel construction maintains its diameter to ensure maximum hydraulic pressure reaches the caliper. This eliminates the "spongy" pedal feel often associated with aged rubber lines and provides a firmer, more consistent brake response under all driving conditions.
