The Radium Engineering Master Cylinder Brace is a critical upgrade for drivers seeking a firmer, more responsive brake pedal. In the NA Mazda Miata, the master cylinder is mounted to a relatively thin firewall that flexes under heavy braking loads. This deflection leads to a spongy pedal feel and makes it difficult to modulate braking force precisely at the limit.
This bolt-in brace (MPN 20-0843) provides a rigid mechanical stop for the master cylinder, effectively bracing it against the shock tower. By eliminating firewall flex, it ensures that your foot's effort is translated directly into hydraulic pressure.
