The Radium Engineering FCST-X Fuel Cell Surge Tank (20-1992-02) is an engineered fuel delivery solution for competition fuel cells, designed to eliminate fuel starvation during high-G maneuvers. This system integrates the lift pump and surge tank into a single drop-in unit that mounts directly to the fuel cell flange.
This configuration includes three Walbro F90000274 pumps: one lift pump dedicated to scavenging fuel from the cell into the internal canister, and two primary surge pumps to supply the engine. The system utilizes Radium's modular lift-out pump assemblies, allowing for individual pump service or inspection without disassembling the entire fuel system.
