The Radium Engineering XR Fuel Pulse Damper (FPD) is designed to manage the high-frequency pressure fluctuations created by the rapid opening and closing of fuel injectors in EFI systems. These pulses can lead to resonance within the fuel rail, resulting in inconsistent fueling and audible mechanical noise. By absorbing these energy waves, the XR FPD helps maintain a stable pressure environment for more precise tuning and quieter operation.
Equipped with a swivel body, this damper allows for 360-degree orientation after it is threaded into a female 8AN ORB port. This flexibility is essential for achieving clearance in crowded engine bays or tight fuel rail configurations.
