The Radium Engineering Baffled Oil Cap (MPN: 20-0588) is a functional upgrade for GM LS V8 engines, replacing the factory oil filler cap with a baffled crankcase vent point. This kit is engineered to help manage internal crankcase pressure, which is essential for maintaining seal integrity and performance in high-RPM or forced induction applications.
The cap features an internal baffle design that effectively separates liquid oil from venting gases, ensuring that oil stays inside the engine while allowing the crankcase to breathe. It utilizes a center port that integrates with the included adapter fitting and a 2-inch breather filter.
