By acting as a buffer reservoir, it ensures a constant supply of fuel is available to the engine, preventing lean conditions and engine damage caused by fuel sloshing during high G-force cornering or low fuel levels.
This surge tank is designed for external mounting, typically installed in the trunk or chassis area outside the main fuel tank or fuel cell. It is specifically engineered to work in conjunction with external in-line fuel pumps or mechanical fuel pumps (not included) to feed the fuel rail. The universal design allows for versatile plumbing configurations in custom fuel systems.
