Fits select 1999-2004 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty and 2000-2005 Ford Excursion. This Rancho RS5000X front shock absorber is engineered to provide a significant upgrade over factory damping, utilizing a larger twin-tube body and exclusive Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV). By custom-tuning the compression and rebound phases specifically for heavy-duty Ford chassis, this shock minimizes initial harshness at low speeds while maintaining firm control during high-speed impacts or off-road excursions.
Built for durability in extreme environments, the RS55267 features a nitro-carburized 16mm piston rod and a 35mm sintered iron piston. The internal nitrogen gas charge is pressurized to 150 PSI to prevent oil foaming and damping fade during heavy use. To protect internal components, each shock includes a polyvinyl dust boot and utilizes all-weather fluid capable of operating between -40 and 248°F.
