The Rancho RS5000X RS55282 front shock absorber is engineered for drivers who demand better handling and control on and off the road. Featuring exclusive Cross Tuned technology and a unique rebound valving system, these gas-pressurized twin-tube shocks provide a smoother ride by minimizing impact harshness. The Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) is custom-tuned to your Dodge Ram 1500 to reduce initial impacts at low speeds while maintaining stability during more aggressive maneuvers.
- Precision Construction: Features a 35mm sintered iron piston and a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod to resist scuffs and corrosion.
- Advanced Valving: Cross Tuned technology and Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) optimize fluid transfer to absorb impacts without disc flutter.
- Durability: Double-welded loops at stress areas and a polyurethane rebound bumper for long-term reliability.
- Gas Pressurized: Nitrogen gas charged to 150 PSI to minimize aeration and foaming, significantly reducing damping fade.
- All-Weather Performance: Large twin-tube body with all-weather fluid withstands internal temperatures from -40 to 248°F.
- Included Protection: Comes equipped with a polyvinyl protective boot to shield the rod and oil seal from debris.
