The Rancho RS5000X RS55301 rear shock absorber is engineered to bridge the gap between street comfort and off-road capability. Featuring an advanced Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) system, this twin-tube shock is custom-tuned to minimize initial impact harshness at low speeds while maintaining firm control during aggressive maneuvers or heavy loading.
- Precision Valving: Cross Tuned technology uses a progressive rebound valving system and an advanced compression phase to improve handling across varying terrain.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Built with a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior corrosion resistance and a 35mm sintered iron piston for structural integrity.
- Fade Resistance: Nitrogen gas pressurized to 150 PSI reduces air-to-oil foaming, ensuring consistent damping performance under high-demand conditions.
- All-Weather Reliability: Filled with specialized fluid rated for internal temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F.
