The Rancho RS5000X series shock absorber utilizes Cross Tuned technology and an exclusive Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) system to provide a custom-tuned ride for your Ford Super Duty. Designed to handle both on-road comfort and off-road durability, this twin-tube shock minimizes air-to-oil mixture through 150 PSI nitrogen gas pressurization, significantly reducing damping fade and foaming during demanding use.

Engineered for extreme environments, the RS55047A features a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior corrosion resistance and a 35mm sintered iron piston for structural integrity. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, ensuring consistent performance in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 248°F. Each unit is finished with double-welded loops at high-stress points and includes a protective polyvinyl boot to shield the rod and oil seal from debris.
