The Rancho RS5000X RS55269 rear shock absorber utilizes patented Cross Tuned technology to provide improved handling and performance both on and off-road. Engineered with a large twin-tube body, this shock is pressurized to 150 PSI with nitrogen gas to minimize air-to-oil mixture, effectively reducing damping fade and foaming. The application-specific Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) is custom-tuned to minimize rough rides by reducing initial impacts at low speeds while maintaining firm control during heavy suspension cycling.
