The Rancho RS5000X shock absorber is engineered to deliver a smooth, controlled ride for both street and trail. Featuring Rancho’s exclusive Cross Tuned technology, this twin-tube gas-pressurized shock utilizes a unique valving system that adapts to changing terrain. This Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV) reduces initial impacts at low speeds while maintaining firm control during high-speed maneuvers, effectively minimizing disc flutter and dampening harshness.

Built for long-term durability, the RS5000X is constructed with a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior scuff and corrosion resistance. The 35mm sintered iron piston and double-welded loops at stress areas provide significant structural integrity. Designed to handle extreme environments, the all-weather fluid allows for consistent operation in internal temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F.
