The Rancho RS5000X RS55129 rear shock absorber utilizes a unique Progressive Engagement Valving system to provide a custom-tuned ride for your Jeep. Engineered for both on-road stability and off-road capability, this twin-tube gas shock features a patented internal design that reduces initial impacts at low speeds while maintaining control during high-speed compression. The 150 PSI nitrogen gas charge minimizes aeration and foaming, ensuring consistent damping performance even under heavy articulation.

Built to withstand the rigors of the trail, the RS5000X is constructed with a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior corrosion resistance and a 35mm sintered iron piston for structural integrity. Double-welded loops at the stress points and a polyurethane rebound bumper further enhance durability. The large twin-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid, allowing for reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40 to 248°F.
