The Rancho RS5000X RS55188 front shock absorber is engineered to deliver precise handling and improved ride quality for Nissan trucks and SUVs. Featuring exclusive Progressive Engagement Valving (PEV), this twin-tube shock is custom-tuned for each application to reduce initial impacts at low speeds while maintaining control during high-speed maneuvers. The 150 PSI nitrogen gas charge minimizes oil foaming and damping fade, ensuring consistent performance whether you are on the pavement or the trail.
- 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod resists scuffs and corrosion in harsh conditions
- 35mm sintered iron piston with fluon banding provides structural integrity and smooth response
- Cross Tuned technology with advanced compression phase for superior off-road handling
- All-weather fluid maintains consistent viscosity in temperatures from -40 to 248°F
- Low-friction, self-lubricating seal and polyvinyl protective boot protect internal components
- Double-welded loops at stress areas for maximum durability
- Polyurethane rebound bumper and rubber bushings help absorb road harshness
