The Rancho RS5000X RS55227 is a gas-pressurized rear shock absorber engineered to deliver improved handling and control for K-Series trucks and SUVs. Utilizing Rancho's Cross Tuned technology, this shock features an exclusive rebound valving system and an advanced compression phase that manages vehicle motion both on and off-road. The internal 150 PSI nitrogen gas charge reduces air-to-oil mixture (foaming), which prevents damping performance fade during heavy-duty use or high-speed cycling.

Built to withstand extreme conditions, the RS5000X features a large twin-tube body filled with all-weather fluid, allowing for reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -40° to 248°F. The construction utilizes a 16mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior corrosion resistance and double-welded loops at stress points for maximum structural integrity.
