The Retrax IX offers a premium, flush-mounted solution for truck bed security and weather protection. Built with durable aluminum slats joined by heavy-duty elastomer hinges, this retractable cover creates a resilient barrier against debris and moisture. The slats are finished in a UV-resistant matte black powder coat to prevent fading and provide a low-profile, refined appearance that sits level with the bed rails.
Engineered for longevity and ease of use, the Retrax IX features sealed roller bearings within the aluminum tracks. This design ensures smooth, frictionless movement without the need for failure-prone springs. The cover retracts into a compact, spiral canister at the front of the bed, preventing the cover from rubbing against itself during operation. For hauling flexibility, the adjustable latch system allows the cover to be secured in three different positions.
