Fits select 1964-1988 Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac A-Body and G-Body vehicles, including Chevelle, El Camino, Cutlass, Regal, Monte Carlo, and GTO.
The Ridetech Rear Upper R-Joint Assembly is designed to eliminate the suspension bind and deflection inherent in factory rubber bushings. Unlike traditional bushings that resist rotation, the R-Joint provides high-articulation and low-friction movement, allowing your rear suspension to move through its travel smoothly without the noise or vibration common in spherical bearings. These units press directly into the rear axle housing, providing a precise, durable connection for improved handling and traction.
- Eliminates suspension bind for more consistent handling and better power delivery
- High-articulation R-Joint technology offers quiet, maintenance-free operation
- Internal liner ensures long service life and resistance to environmental debris
- Includes a specialized removal and installation tool to facilitate pressing out the factory bushings and seating the new joints
