Engineered specifically for the PowerBoost platform, this heavy-duty plate is deep-stamped from 1/4-inch (6mm) aluminum to provide superior structural rigidity and impact resistance with minimal weight. It shields the transmission and catalytic converter assemblies from off-road hazards like rocks and logs while acting as a deterrent against catalytic converter theft.
The matte metallic silver finish offers a clean look, while the natural properties of aluminum ensure the plate remains corrosion-resistant even if the surface is scratched during trail use. This is a direct bolt-on component that utilizes factory mounting points for a secure installation without the need for drilling or cutting. To ensure the smoothest assembly, it is recommended to run a tap through the included hardware and bracketry before installation.
