The RockJock Johnny Joint (CE-9114L) is the premier choice for fabricators and suspension builders requiring maximum articulation and long-term durability. This forged 2-1/2 inch diameter rod end offers 30 degrees of unrestricted movement, providing a significant advantage over the 22-degree limit typical of standard heim joints.
Unlike rigid heim joints, the Johnny Joint utilizes high-density urethane bushings to encase the inner ball, offering essential cushioning and vibration dampening for suspension components. The internal assembly is secured by two heat-treated side washers and a heavy-duty snap ring, while the gold zinc plating ensures superior corrosion resistance in harsh off-road environments.
- Body: Forged steel, 2-1/2 inch diameter.
- Articulation: 30 degrees of total movement.
- Shank: 1-1/4 inch-12 Left Hand (LH) thread with 2-1/4 inch length.
