The Roush Cold Air Intake (P/N 421827) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air assembly, delivering a more efficient path for air to reach the turbocharger. Designed specifically for the 2.3L I4 EcoBoost engine, this system is 74% less restrictive than stock at peak horsepower, allowing for performance gains of up to 29 RWHP and 27 ft-lbs of torque without the need for an ECU recalibration or custom tune.
The kit features a high-flow, dry air filter that is washable and reusable, eliminating the need for oiling. To ensure a straightforward installation, the system utilizes factory mounting locations, hardware, and all OE emissions and vacuum lines, typically requiring less than one hour for a complete bolt-on setup.
