The Skunk2 HG Series Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered for high-performance applications where combustion pressures and temperatures exceed factory limits. This "stopper" type gasket features extra material strategically sandwiched between the steel layers to provide a superior mechanical seal around the combustion chamber. This design is specifically ideal for engines with minimal surface area around the cylinder walls due to oversized boring.
Constructed with laser-welded stainless steel layers and coated with HR-180 fluoroelastomer synthetic rubber, this gasket ensures excellent flange conformability and provides increased resistance to the vibrations and corrosion found in modified engines.
