Manufactured from medical-grade, ultrasonically inspected titanium, these retainers are developed using 3D CAD and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure an optimized balance of strength and weight reduction. Each retainer features radius-cut edges for improved rocker arm clearance and strategically positioned lightening grooves.

To ensure precise fitment and performance, Skunk2 utilizes CNC machining followed by individual inspections for hole diameter, taper, and surface defects. These tight tolerances ensure proper installed valve spring heights and consistent seat pressures. The reduced overall height also provides better valve seal clearance compared to standard retainers. For quality assurance and material traceability, every retainer is serialized with material batch and production date information.
