Skunk2 Alpha Tuner Series Valve Springs are engineered to prevent valve float and maintain valvetrain stability at engine speeds exceeding 10,000 RPM. These dual springs feature an inner and outer spring mated through a slight interference fit with differing frequencies, a design derived from Skunk2’s extensive experience in professional drag racing and engine building.
Each spring is manufactured from super-clean, Japanese-milled chrome-silicone wire to ensure long-term reliability and resistance to fatigue. To guarantee performance, Skunk2 tests these components in-house on both the engine dyno and the road, ensuring they meet the tolerances required for high-performance DOHC VTEC applications.
