The Skyjacker Nitro shock absorber (N8057) is engineered to provide consistent damping and control for your Ford truck or SUV. Using a nitrogen gas-charged twin-tube design, these shocks utilize multi-stage velocity-sensitive valving to automatically adjust to various terrain and road conditions. This design helps maintain tire contact with the road while managing the energy stored in your suspension springs during compression and rebound cycles.
Each shock features a robust 5/8-inch diameter hardened and double-chromed rod for maximum durability against pitting and corrosion. The included red polyurethane bushings offer superior longevity compared to standard rubber, resisting degradation from road grime and oils. This shock comes complete with a red protective boot to shield the piston rod from debris.
