The Skyjacker Black Max B8524 is a twin-tube shock absorber engineered for consistent performance under demanding conditions. Utilizing advanced foam-cell technology, these shocks are designed to eliminate internal air pockets. As the shock heats up during heavy use, the foam-cell insert compresses to compensate for oil expansion, maintaining steady damping performance across the entire operating temperature range. This design also allows for 180-degree directional mounting to suit various installation needs.
Constructed for durability and heat management, the Black Max features increased fluid capacity for better heat dissipation and multi-stage vehicle-specific valving. The unit is built with a sintered iron piston, a chrome-plated shaft, and 360-degree arc-welded end mounts for superior structural integrity.
